Step 3: first deposit
The first deposit above the published threshold triggers a KYC request. The operator's published primary document is PAN; Aadhaar may be requested in specific states. Address proof and a live selfie are standard. The deposit rails are UPI, net-banking, debit card and wallet top-ups; credit cards may be restricted for skill-games by the issuing bank.

Step 4: pick a table and join

The verification gate, in one screen
The "join table" action is gated by KYC completion. If you have not completed KYC, the action prompts you to complete the verification flow first. The verification screen is one screen with five upload boxes: PAN, Aadhaar (if requested), address proof, live selfie, source of funds (above a published threshold).
The verification screen labels each field clearly. The upload box accepts JPG, PNG and PDF. Document images that fail the size or resolution check return a clear error. We did not encounter any opaque failure modes during the test.
The verification status persists across sessions; you do not need to re-verify each time you log in. If your verification is rejected and you do not re-verify, the "join table" action remains gated. What "join table" actually does
When you tap "join table" on the mostbet lobby, three things happen in sequence. First, the system checks your KYC status; if KYC is incomplete, the join action is gated and you are routed to the verification screen. Second, the system reserves a seat at the table; the seat reservation is held for a published window (commonly 30 seconds) before being released. Third, you are entered into the deal as a player; the first card is dealt once all seats are filled or the table's published minimum player count is reached.
The join action is reversible until the first card is dealt. Once the deal starts, you are committed to play out the hand or take a published drop. The drop thresholds scale with the table rate; the strategies chapter covers the deadwood-sum decision variable that drives the drop-or-hold choice.
If you join a table and find that the stake range is not what you expected, leave the table before the first card is dealt. Leaving after the first card is dealt counts as a mid-drop, not a no-show, and the published mid-drop penalty applies.
